Product Overview

Mitti Attar is a distinctive traditional Indian fragrance inspired by the natural aroma of dry earth when touched by the first monsoon rain. Often described as the fragrance of petrichor, it possesses a warm, earthy, mineralic, slightly smoky, and deeply comforting character.

Traditionally, carefully prepared clay is hydro-distilled using the Deg-Bhapka method, allowing its characteristic earthy aroma to be captured in an appropriate attar base.

The fragrance opens with the scent of damp soil, baked clay, and subtle mineral nuances. It gradually develops into a warm, woody, softly smoky heart before settling into a smooth, earthy, and lingering base.

Prepared in Kannauj, Mitti Attar reflects the heritage of Indian attar-making and is valued for its simplicity, nostalgia, and unmistakable connection with nature.
