Oakmoss Oil is a deep, earthy, forest-like aromatic oil derived from the lichen Evernia prunastri, which thrives on the bark of oak trees. This dark, resinous substance is revered in perfumery for its powerful fixative properties and green, mossy, woody scent, making it a cornerstone of classic chypre and fougère fragrance accords.

Often aged to refine its richness and complexity, Oakmoss Oil imparts grounding, long-lasting depth to perfumes. It is also known for its role in spiritual and meditative blends due to its deeply grounding character.
